Attachments Unbound✨
Attachment is not a joke.
When we form deep connections with someone, we often invest a piece of ourselves in that relationship. Whether it’s a friendship,a romantic relationship, or a bond with family, these connections can define our emotional landscape.
What happens when those attachments are severed?
The reality is that losing someone we care about can leave us feeling shattered. When we attach ourselves to another person, we not only share our joys and experiences but also our vulnerabilities.
As the poet Khalil Gibran wisely said,
“Your friend is your needs answered.”
In friendships and relationships, we find comfort, support, and understanding. But if that connection is lost, the emotional toll can be overwhelming.
The pain of losing someone can lead to feelings of emptiness, anxiety, and even despair.
It can feel as if a part of us has been ripped away. This sense of loss can distort our perceptions and create a mental weight that
is hard to bear. It’s as though we’ve built a house of cards, only to see it come crashing down.
